Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Analog Design Engineer to contribute to high-precision mixed-signal IC design within our PADC team. The role involves designing ∆-∑ ADCs, references, LDOs, and op-amps, with emphasis on speed, noise, and power constraints.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, verify at block and top levels, and supervise layouts to ensure silicon performance. A master’s degree and several years of analog experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with coursework and projects in Analog/mixed-signal IC design.
  • 3+ years of Analog and/or Mixed-signal circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with business teams and system engineers to develop design specifications.
  • Analyzing architecture trade-offs at both system and block level.
  • Analog circuit designs involving high speed, high precision, low noise, low power.
  • Top-level and block-level analog/AMS design verification.
  • Supervising IC layouts to ensure a high-performance standard.
  • Owning design reviews and creating necessary design, verification and product documentation.
  • Participating hands-on in Silicon Debug, assisting in characterization and qual support.
  • Driving new and improved methodologies and flows where needed.

TI’s Precision ADC (PADC) team develops industry leading 24-bit high precision ADCs and Sensing AFE products that push the boundaries on precision, speed, power, noise, integration and cost.

As an Analog Design Engineer in PADC team, you will have opportunities to design a variety of circuits including ∆-∑ ADCs, low drift voltage and current references, LDOs, programmable gain amplifiers, Charge pumps, Opamps and DACs leveraging TI’s state-of-the-art technologies.

Minimum requirements:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field with coursework and projects in Analog/mixed-signal IC design.
  • 3+ years of Analog and/or Mixed-signal circuit design experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong Electrical Engineering Fundamentals and aptitude for creative problem solving
  • Experience in designing bandgap references, bias circuits, amplifier design, switch-cap circuits, LDOs
  • Experience in ADC design and MATLAB/verilogAMS modeling is a plus
  • A proven record of efficient design execution and reliable silicon performance
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and ability to collaborate with people in different functions
  • Self-motivated; show initiative to drive results
  • Good team player, attitude and thirst for continuous learning
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
