Job summary

Cirrus Logic is seeking innovative engineering interns to join the team for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027 opportunities. Interns will work on design and characterization of high-performance mixed-signal ICs in state-of-the-art CMOS processes, with hands-on experience and collaboration across engineering groups.

The internship lasts 12–16 weeks with a full-time schedule. Interns should be based within commutable distance of the Austin work location or relocate if needed, with in-office engagement

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (Cadence, SPICE).
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal ICs.
  • Support characterization and testing of silicon prototypes.
  • Analyze performance data and contribute to design improvements.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure robust and efficient circuit implementations.
