Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified gastroenterologist for a hospital-based locum tenens assignment in Oregon. The schedule includes Tue–Wed clinic 8:00–15:00, Thurs procedures 7:30–17:00, with call coverage Wed–Fri or weekends as needed. Expect ~14 patients per day, performing colonoscopies and endoscopies.

ACLS certification is required; paid malpractice; pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Weatherby provides 24-hour consultant access and supports assignments nationwide.

Qualifications

• Board certification in GI required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Hospital-based GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general GI procedures including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Provide scheduled clinic days and procedure days as listed.
• Fulfill call coverage and weekend duties as needed.
