Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in Oregon is seeking a locum tenens breast imaging specialist to cover a busy schedule. The role offers steady daily cases, a supportive consultant team, and access to Weatherby’s online portal for time entry and assignment details.

The ideal candidate will perform 15–18 diagnostic breast mammography/US cases per day, 6–8 bone density studies, and up to 3 breast procedures, with up to 20 screening exams when diagnostic work is light; compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• 15 - 18 diagnostic breast mammography/US cases per day
• 6 - 8 bone density cases scheduled daily
• Up to 20 screening mammograms when no diagnostic cases scheduled
• Up to 3 breast procedures per day possible
• Procedures: stereotactic biopsy, vacuum assisted biopsy, RFID placement

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic breast mammography and ultrasound
• Schedule and coordinate bone density and screening mammography studies
• Assist with breast procedures (stereotactic biopsy, VAC biopsy, RFID placement) as needed
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards in imaging
• Utilize Weatherby’s online portal for assignment details and time entry
