Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking a physician to provide inpatient consults in Des Moines, IA. The role requires hospital privileges and weekend call coverage, with a two-week-per-month schedule Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and telehealth options available for subset of cases.

Competitive compensation with pre-paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, and licensing cost reimbursement. Must be able to cover Thanksgiving or Christmas and be a member of NALTO.

Qualifications

• Experience covering holidays (Thanksgiving or Christmas).

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consults and hospital coverage as assigned.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in telehealth option when needed to support patient access.
