Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage in Arizona. The role requires an IR fellowship and ABR DX & IR certification, with 8am–5pm shifts and a mix of weekday and weekend coverage. Biopsy and drain placements are performed as part of the duties.

Hospital privileges are required, and Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, plus prepaid travel and housing expenses. You will have ongoing support from a Weatherby consultant throughout assignments.

Qualifications

• IR fellowship and ABR DX & IR certification required.
• Hospital privileges required.
• Weekday and weekend coverage with 8am–5pm schedule.
• Biopsy and drain placement procedures performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Provide coverage as assigned during weekdays and weekends.
• Coordinate with hospital teams and ensure patient safety and quality care.
