Job summary

Urban Air Adventure Park is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee the maintenance and appearance of all attractions and facilities at our Houston park. The role supports repair and upkeep of park equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work various shifts, with basic hand-tool skills and knowledge of safety regulations. This is a dynamic, entertainment-focused position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year related maintenance or park operations experience.
• Some knowledge of amusement equipment preferred.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools and repairs.
• General knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
• Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintenance of the Park/attractions in superior working order
• Responsible for maintaining work area and back end in a neat and orderly manner
• Maintain adequate supply of tools and machinery
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manual
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist managers to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules
• Advise General Manager on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance of attractions
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Ability to work various shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the role
