Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment's Busch Gardens Williamsburg seeks a skilled painter to perform general paint work in-park, using airless spray, brushes and rollers while upholding safety and guest experience.

You will work with coatings, scaffolding up to 24 ft, lift up to 50 lb, pass respirator tests, and maintain paint shop cleanliness; a high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with benefits including park admission and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of onsite painting experience
• Experience with chemical and hazardous waste
• Valid driver’s license (including high reach and forklift licenses)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with scaffolding up to 24 ft
• Able to pass respirator fit test
• Able to work at heights up to 385 ft
• Able to lift 50 lb and push/pull 100 lb with assistance
• Able to climb ladders
• Paint/body experience
• Fiberglass repairs, polyester bondo, refinishing
• Familiar with HVLP spray guns
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Exposure to noise, vibrations, fumes/dust odors
• Work in various weather conditions
• Willing to train on protective gear
• Able to work varying shifts or opening/closing hours

Responsibilities

• Perform general paint work for in-park painting services
• Use application methods: airless spray, conventional spray, brush and roller
• Perform pressure washing; assemble/dismantle scaffolding
• Select materials and maintain cleanliness of paint shop and storage areas
• Adhere to safety policies and park guidelines
• Complete additional duties as assigned
