Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is hiring at its Holland Plant in Michigan. The role operates on the second shift (2PM – 10:30PM) with a $1.25 shift differential, Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include upholding safety and quality standards, supporting KHMS, improving line performance, and team cooperation in a union facility. Employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, HRA/HSA, and additional perks such as pet insurance and EAP.

Qualifications

• Upon hire will train to become Lock Out Tag Out certified and maintain qualification.
• Must successfully pass on the job training and maintain operator qualification.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday

• Second Shift (2PM – 10:30PM)

• Shift premium: $1.25 shift differential

• Ability to work all shifts as required by training needs

• Ability to work daily overtime as needed

• Ability to work Saturday and Sunday overtime days as needed

• Holland Plant has been around since 1897

• Products produced: Sweet relish, Grey Poupon mustard, yellow mustard, vinegar, pickle variations, BBQ sauce

• Union Facility – Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU)

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the functions of this position. Frequent and sustained physical effort is required including standing and walking, bending and twisting, using hands and fingers to handle and feel, reach with arms and hands, talk loudly and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, turn, reach, push, pull, climb, balance or crouch. Must wear all PPE required. Employee must regularly lift/move up to 40 pounds and occasionally moves up to 60 pounds. Mechanical assistance will be used to move skids of material up to 3,000 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to react and move quickly in case of emergency is mandatory.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.Working conditions include extremes of heat, cold and humidity. The employee will be exposed during his/her job to high noise levels, chemicals, exposure to strong odors, fumes or airborne particles, constant stair climbing, and slippery floors.

Personal Protective Equipment: The employee is regularly required to wear company authorized safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, rubber boots, chemical protection and other personal protective equipment to successfully perform the functions of this job safely.
