This role serves as the primary technical and functional expert for AMOS, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and effective utilization of AMOS to support maintenance, engineering, and logistics operations.

The position partners closely with Maintenance & Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, and the AMOS vendor to deliver a reliable, compliant, and efficient maintenance platform.

System Administration & Configuration
  • Administer and configure AMOS to support maintenance, engineering, logistics, and related business processes.
  • Maintain system parameters, master data, user profiles, roles, and permissions in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage environment refreshes, configuration changes, and set up new aircraft, components, locations, and organizations in AMOS.
  • Coordinate and support AMOS upgrades, patches, and new module deployments, including testing and production rollout.
Operations Support & Issue Resolution
  • Act as the primary point of contact for AMOS-related incidents, service requests, and queries from business users.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data issues; elevate to internal IT or Swiss-AS support as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues impacting availability, response times, or data quality.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge base articles for AMOS.
Business Partnering & Subject Matter Expertise
  • Serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert on AMOS capabilities, best practices, and configuration options.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Materials, and Quality to translate business requirements into AMOS configuration and workflows.
  • Recommend process and system improvements to enhance efficiency, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in or lead AMOS-related projects, including new functionality, integrations, and process redesign.
Data Quality, Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of key AMOS data (aircraft configurations, maintenance programs, work orders, inventory, etc.).
  • Support development and maintenance of AMOS reports and dashboards (e.g., KPIs for fleet status, work package performance, inventory, reliability).
  • Support compliance with EASA/FAA and other applicable regulatory requirements by ensuring AMOS configuration and records support audit-readiness.

  • Support change management activities related to AMOS enhancements, including stakeholder communication, UAT coordination, and go-live support.
Vendor & Integration Management
  • Liaise with Swiss-AS and other vendors on support tickets, enhancement requests, and roadmap discussions.
  • Coordinate testing and support for integrations between AMOS and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP/finance, flight operations, HR, document management, BI).
  • Contribute to long-term roadmap and strategy for AMOS usage, modules, and integrations.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience with AMOS or a comparable aviation MRO/M&E system (e.g., TRAX, Ramco, OASES, Veryon, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering processes, including line/base maintenance, component maintenance, planning, and materials management.
  • Experience in application administration: user/role management, configuration, testing, and production support.
  • Solid knowledge of data structures and reporting within enterprise applications; familiarity with SQL or reporting tools is a plus.

  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
