Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking an AMO Technician to join our team in Wisconsin. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and preparing equipment to meet quality and operational standards.

You will work with a team to complete maintenance tasks, document work, and ensure dependable equipment for our customers. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble equipment per work instructions and procedures.
  • Identify worn or out-of-spec parts and communicate findings to the team.
  • Use hand tools, shop equipment, and measurement instruments safely and correctly.
  • Complete job paperwork, inspection records, and system documentation on time.
  • Follow quality, safety, and shop practices throughout each job.
  • Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized for use.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet schedules and customer needs.
  • Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Complete other duties in AMO operations as assigned.

AMO Technician

As an AMO Technician, you will work with a team to complete maintenance and repair activities, document work accurately, and help deliver dependable equipment to our customers.


As an AMO Technician, you will be responsible for:



  • Inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling equipment according to work instructions and approved procedures.

  • Identifying worn, damaged, or out-of-specification parts and communicating findings to the appropriate team members.

  • Using hand tools, shop equipment, and measurement instruments safely and correctly.

  • Completing job paperwork, inspection records, and system documentation accurately and on time.

  • Following quality requirements, safety procedures, and applicable shop practices throughout each job.

  • Keeping work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.

  • Working with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet job schedules and customer requirements.

  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • Completing other assigned duties in support of AMO operations.
