Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an ASP Ammo Handler to manage ammunition storage, receiving, issuing, shipment, and unit returns at Fort Benning. You’ll perform remarking and stenciling, run inventory controls, and operate forklifts and related equipment in all weather.

The role requires a High School diploma and ammunition certifications within 90 days, plus security screenings, CAC/NACI clearances, and U.S. citizenship. A 1st-shift schedule with 40 hours weekly is typical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Onsite training available; the candidate must obtain ammunition certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Pass local ammunition security screenings.
• Background check to access arms, ammunition and explosives.
• Valid state REAL ID driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NACI Tier 1 Public Trust and CAC.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship (birth certificate or passport).
• Driving privileges aboard Fort Benning.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties and verify materials against receiving documents.
• Review DA Form 3151 and pull items for unit issue.
• Process unit returns, receipts, and shipment handling.
• Conduct location surveys to ensure ammo in correct storage locations.
• Operate MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Rewarehousing and remarking/stenciling as required.
• Maintain inventory control procedures and data entry on documents.
• Ensure storage locations and IDS system are secured after work.
