Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician to service customers in Colorado. Travel up to 50% and relocation are supported.

You will diagnose breakdowns, disassemble and repair equipment, and perform preventive maintenance under the Service Coordinator's guidance. Candidates must have EPA CFC certification and RETA I/II, knowledge of ammonia and cascade systems, and OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Availability to travel 50% of the time
• Industry experience in the Industrial Refrigeration field
• Knowledge of evaporative condensers, large control systems, complex electrical controls, and ammonia/cascade/rack refrigeration systems
• EPA approved CFC certification and RETA Course I and II certifications
• Familiarity with International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration standards and OSHA safety regulations
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime

• Disassemble and assemble parts and perform necessary repairs

Job Overview

Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician required to service customers in Colorado. Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of Industrial Refrigeration equipment breakdowns
• Disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection tasks as defined in each maintenance agreement maintaining adherence to budget objectives
• Obtain clearly defined directives from Service Coordinator on the specific tasks to be performed; assist the coordinator in scheduling inspections based on location, man‑hour requirements, priorities, customer coordination, and material pick‑up

Qualifications

• Availability to travel 50% of the time
• Industry experience in the Industrial Refrigeration field
• Primary area of expertise in evaporative condensers, large control systems, complex conventional electrical controls, Industrial Refrigeration Systems including ammonia, cascade, and rack systems with the ability to rebuild commercial/industrial compressors
• Possess EPA approved CFC certification and RETA Course I and II certifications
• Possess knowledge of current International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration/Refrigeration Engineers and Technician Association and OSHA safety regulations
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include varying shifts, short notice assignments, emergencies, nights, weekends, and overtime (scheduled and unscheduled), as required
