Job summary

First Horizon Bank seeks a Risk Compliance Officer - Technology to develop, administer, and monitor AML software ensuring regulatory compliance across bank operations, products, and services. The role provides timely information to BSA/AML management and maintains high standards of compliance with regulatory processes.

The incumbent will oversee system maintenance, upgrades, data quality, user access, and SME duties for AML databases while coordinating with regulators and internal audits as

Qualifications

• Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to analyze, write, test, and maintain code in various programming languages.
• Ability to find and fix errors in programs, systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors a risk-based anti-money laundering software: system maintenance, upgrades, configuration, data quality, user access and system tuning.
• Research, analyze, and develops recommendations for implementation of system updates/changes.
• Reviews and analyzes operating systems and software frequently to keep them running at optimal levels.
• Resolves technology issues through software performance testing and implementation.
• Builds and utilizes computer-assisted software tools to automate processes/procedures.
• Serves as SME for anti-money laundering software and corresponding databases.
• Gathers information utilized by BSA/AML management regarding clients, transactions and software.
• Assists with responding to regulator and internal audit data requests.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
