Qualifications

Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.## **Job Description**U.S. Bank is responsible for maintaining an effective anti-money laundering (AML) program for monitoring, detecting, and reporting suspicious activity to appropriate regulatory agencies. As a member of the Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance AML Investigations division, you will be part of the bank’s second line of defense to prevent individuals and businesses from using U.S. Bank products and services for illegal purposes. As an AML Investigator, you will conduct enterprise-wide investigations identifying unusual activity and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to be filed with Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) as well as writing and preparing cases that result in No SARs. An AML Investigator should have a basic understanding of AML/BSA laws and regulations, the financial services industry, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business. During the investigation, you may identify gaps and help drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
