Job summary

Pathward Financial, Inc. is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to investigate customer and transactional activity, identify suspicious patterns, and file SARs/CTRs with regulators.

  • Analyze and investigate customer and transactional data to identify suspicious activity.
  • File SARs and CTRs with regulatory agencies for escalated activity.
  • Maintain service levels and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls for monitoring strategies and inquiries.
  • Ensure production, quality and leadership standards on assigned workstreams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role:

Responsible for analyzing and investigating customer and transactional activity and data to identify patterns to confirm suspicious activity. Responsible for filing suspicious activity reports with regulatory agencies involving Pathward accounts and/or services, in accordance with bank procedures. This position requires the analyst to evaluate multiple banking product types, financial crime types, and systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyzes and investigates customer and transactional data and activity to identify and confirm suspicious activity.
  • Files SARs & CTRs with regulatory agencies for activity that has been escalated by internal teams, external partners and third parties including Law Enforcement.
  • Maintains service levels with workload in accordance to policies, procedures and compliance standards.
  • Answers inbound and outbound calls to provide servicing for monitoring strategies and customer inquiries.
  • Maintains standards of Production, Quality and Leadership results for workstreams assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $43,000 – $70,000


The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Ranges may be modified in the future.This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
