Job summary

Hearts & Lives in Crestline, CA is seeking a compassionate Therapist to join our behavioral health team. The role provides individual, family, and group therapy for children and families, focusing on improving mental health and relationships.

You will collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care. The ideal candidate has a strong background in child and family therapy, a Master’s degree in a related field, and active BBS licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, MFT, counseling or related field.
• Valid BBS registration as a therapist (AMFT/ACSW/APCC) is required.
• Experience working with children and providing child-family counseling preferred.
• Strong understanding of case management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with behavioral health concepts and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and research in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of children and families.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 codes in documentation and case management.
