AmeriCorps members collaborate with health care providers to deliver critical interventions that make it possible for Hushabye Nursery to change the approach to treating infants experiencing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and their families. By providing access to a care model specialized to meet their unique needs in a fair and just manner while building their resiliency. This position is responsible for providing personal care and delegated patient care services designed to maintain the patients' physical comfort and safety. Follows all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Adheres to the facility’s Core Values and Mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person.
Full-Time and Part-Time Service Schedules. Self-scheduling, 12 hour shifts. Days or nights. Monday through Sunday. Program Benefits include a modest living allowance of up to $1790 monthly, and a Segal Education Award of up to $7395 upon successful completion of service. Child care assistance is available and health coverage available for full-time members.
