Job summary

BBVA Securities Inc. New York is seeking a VP, eSales – Fixed Income & FX for the Americas.

Based in New York, you will lead digital growth, manage Low Touch Sales and champion data-driven strategies across Fixed Income and FX across the Americas, collaborating with Sales, Trading, Product and Engineering to expand electronic distribution. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in Global Markets, strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and fluency in English (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in Global Markets, ideally with electronic trading, eSales, Low Touch, or digital distribution.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and/or FX and electronic trading workflows.
• Proven commercial mindset with institutional/corporate clients.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong analytical/data-driven mindset with use of data for decisions.
• Ability to coordinate across Sales, Trading, Product, Technology in a global setup.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English; Spanish valued.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 7, and 63.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive growth of e-Fixed Income and e-FX across the Americas, accountable for revenues, electronic volumes, clients and KPIs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, increasing digital adoption and wallet share.
• Lead Low Touch Sales in the Americas and coordinate with Global Markets teams across products/geographies.
• Act as regional eConnectivity subject matter expert and team leader for clients, venues and internal stakeholders.
• Drive rollout and commercialization of new platforms, connectivity solutions and functionalities with cross-team collaboration.
• Translate client needs into actionable requirements for Product/Engineering and prioritize initiatives.
• Leverage data to identify opportunities, monitor performance and define actions.
• Coordinate dissemination of digital business intelligence across Global Markets.
• Partner with Global Heads of eConnectivity to implement regional strategy while aligning with global priorities.
