Job summary

Solventum Minnesota seeks an Americas Transportation Operations Leader to drive safe, cost-effective freight across the Americas, including cross-border routes. You will shape regional strategies, operating plans, and carrier programs to meet business and customer needs.

You will lead a transportation team, manage disruptions and carrier performance, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Trade Compliance, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning, and external providers to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, business, engineering, or related field; 10–12 years experience.
• Experience with transportation operations, carrier management, freight execution, import/export coordination, logistics systems, governance.
• Experience with regional operating requirements and transportation market dynamics.
• Experience with TMS, ERP, freight audit and payment, analytics tools, and corporate systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation operations across the Americas, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective, and reliable freight movements.
• Develop regional strategies, operating plans, budgets, carrier strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Direct transportation activities by setting priorities, allocating resources, monitoring performance, and driving results.
• Provide leadership and development for the transportation team, including coaching and talent development.
• Manage complex transportation challenges, service disruptions, and capacity constraints while balancing service, cost, risk, and priorities.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Trade Compliance, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning, Commercial teams, and external providers to optimize performance.
