Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Sr Planner, Americas to manage day-to-day financial planning for assigned categories. You will own OTB files, weekly reporting, and inventory allocation to keep regional plans on track.

This role emphasizes strong Excel and planning-system skills, cross-functional collaboration with buying and channel partners, and proactive trend spotting to optimize assortments and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in retail or wholesale planning.
• Experience with Open to Buy management, allocation and replenishment.
• Exposure to wholesale or franchise planning preferred.
• Proficiency with planning systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Technical precision—build and maintain financial models that are accurate.
• Execution-oriented—manage allocation and replenishment with discipline.
• Ability to spot inventory performance trends and escalate deviations.
• Ability to work well with buying team and channel partners.

Responsibilities

• Managing plan vs. performance on a 9-12 month rolling basis across region, B/G, dept and channel levels.
• Developing actions to stay on plan and operate within Open to Buy and margin structure; manage kitty spend.
• Ordering and allocating inventory.
• Transportation calls within air spend.
• Outlet and aged inventory decisions including redline, Mark Out of Stock, and new hits.
• SKU count management and discipline.
• Promotional decisions including calendar review, performance analysis, and AUR adjustments.
• Tying out item plans and higher-level plans.
• Wholesale & franchise performance vs. expectations.
