The Stepping Stones Group in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a dedicated American Sign Language Interpreter to support students in school environments. You will provide accurate interpretation for lessons, meetings, and assessments, fostering accessible communication and student engagement.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited interpreter program, being certified ASLI with an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, and completing district fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited interpreter program.
• Certified ASLI with EIPA score of 3.5+.
• Fingerprints completed for district clearance.
• Experience working with children and adolescents (school-based experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpretation for lessons, meetings, and assessments in school settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support student access.
• Maintain student confidentiality and professional ethical standards.
