Job summary

Athletes Global Corporation in Denver Public Schools is seeking an ASL Instructor to deliver a welcoming, hands-on introduction to American Sign Language for 1st–5th graders.

This part-time, in-person role runs Tuesdays 3:40 PM–4:40 PM from 9/15 to 11/17/2026, with a focus on signs, vocabulary and basic conversations, under the guidance of the program coordinator.

Qualifications

Experience with American Sign Language (fluency or strong working knowledge preferred).
Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or enrichment setting.
Reliable and able to step in when needed.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for teaching and engaging with students.
Ideal for educators, ASL interpreters, students studying ASL, or instructors with teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
Manage classroom behavior in a positive and professional manner
