Job summary

ALLCPR seeks an Instructor Trainer to lead ARC First Aid/CPR/AED instructor courses and train instructor candidates to become certified ARC instructors.

You will prepare for sessions, demonstrate CPR/AED techniques, and evaluate candidate proficiency across diverse settings including schools and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer certification.
• Strong knowledge of CPR and AED techniques and best practices.
• Ability to prepare and deliver effective training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor courses.
• Deliver instructor-level training sessions to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques that comply with ARC requirements.
• Provide feedback to candidates to help them improve their performance.
• Monitor and evaluate candidate progress to ensure proficiency.
• Complete and submit course records in accordance with ARC requirements.
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date and comply with program requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with CPR/AED training practices.

Our Work Environment Includes

The Instructor Trainer willbe responsible forteaching American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor courses, training instructor candidates to become certified American Red Cross instructors.

The Instructor Trainer willprepare fortraining sessions,demonstrateproper techniques, and evaluate candidates' performance to ensure they have achievedproficiency.

The Instructor Trainer will work in various settings, including offices, schools, community centers, hospitals, and other locations.

NOTE:The Instructor Trainer's teaching methods and content mustcomply withAmerican Red Cross requirements.

License / Certification

• American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer Certification, r.25 — Required

• American Red Cross BLS Instructor Trainer Certification — Preferred

• American Heart Association BLS Instructor Certification — Preferred

• Other equivalent Instructor Trainer certifications may be considered where an approved bridging pathway is available; we canprovidebridging guidance.

Teaching Equipment

The Instructor Trainer must own at least3 manikin sets.

Requirements

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer certification.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prepare and deliver effective training sessions.

• Attention to detail and the ability to provide constructive feedback to candidates.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift and carry training equipment, up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able todemonstrateproper CPR and AED techniques.

Working Conditions

• Work may be performed in various settings, including schools, community centers, hospitals, and corporate offices.

• Work may be performed primarily during weekends.

Salary and Benefits

Salary:$35.00 - $40.00 per teaching hour,commensuratewith experience and length of working relationship with ALLCPR.

Additional Compensation:$10.00 per enrolled student.

Job Classification:1099 Contractor or Part-Time Employee (Certain States).
