The University of Rochester in Rochester, NY is seeking a Level II Registered Nurse for its busy outpatient clinic. Under the Nurse Manager, you will provide competent direct patient care and contribute to unit improvements, while mentoring peers and potentially serving as charge nurse or preceptor.

The position offers daytime hours (PT, 24 hours per week, Mon-Fri), with emphasis on leadership, collaboration, and high-quality patient education and care.

Formación

• BSN degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent direct patient care under the Nurse Manager.
• Contribute to unit activities and improve care delivery.
• Support peers in patient care; may serve as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member.
• Work PT (24 hours) Mon–Fri; no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call.
• Demonstrate leadership, clinical and management skills; collaborate with health care team.
• Coordinate with providers to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Assist with procedures, wound care, anticoagulation education/management, and meds, education, triage, and paperwork.
• Oversee Ambulatory Care Technicians.
• Willingness to work at other clinic locations as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
