Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and training as surgical technician.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and works as part of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment.
