Job summary

Advocate Health Nursing seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to provide ambulatory and perioperative care at the Wake Forest Ambulatory Ventures Surgery Center in Clemmons, NC. The RN will support preop, PACU, OR activities and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. BLS and an active RN license are required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state where practicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains safety and promotes a culture of safety.
• Delivers care per protocols, documents in EHR, and supports team delegation.
