Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN specialized in ambulatory surgery for a 13-week assignment. The nurse will provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation of care plans, education for patients and families, and active participation in handoffs and process improvement initiatives. Requires Missouri licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of nursing experience in ambulatory settings.
• Ability to assess patients and document education needs.
• Experience documenting care plans with nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Strong communication during handoffs and with multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.
• Documents plan of care with problems, interventions, and goals with target dates.
• Participates in patient handoffs using SBAR and other safety tools.
• Engages patients and families in care decisions and education.
• Contributes to process improvement and unit communications.
