Qualifications

• Knowledge of LPN scope per Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Uses equipment (stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, monitors).
• Level II requirements: 18 CNEs/year, 3 CNEs in clinical specialty, 5 CNEs leadership.
• Level II: 3 Peer Reviews and committee involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process.
• Deliver relationship-based nursing care and effective communication.
• Demonstrate technical skills for safe practice and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with team to optimize patient care and operations.
• Maintain PHI compliance and adhere to UH policies during orientation.
• Perform duties as assigned and follow department documents.
