Job summary

United Surgical Partners International's Citrus Heights Surgery Center seeks a Clinical Director to lead ambulatory surgical services in a fast-paced ASC environment. The role focuses on patient experience, efficiency, policy development, staff performance, and fiscal accountability under the ASC Administrator.

You will oversee credentialing, safety, risk management, staff training, scheduling, and ensure compliance with standards, promoting high-quality care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• RN/OR experience required.
• Proven experience as clinical director or manager.
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management.
• Solid budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation know-how.
• Excellent knowledge of standards (ISO) and regulations for clinical field.
• Proficient in MS Office and patient management systems.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operating room management.
• Oversee budgeting and resource planning.
• Plan and supervise patient care operations and programs.
• Recruit and schedule department staff.
• Provide personnel with clinical training and development.
• Monitor performance and enforce policies.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards.
• Coordinate with ASC Administrator on fiscal accountability.
