Job summary

Pacific Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN will deliver professional nursing care, coordinate perioperative services, and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures. Washington license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of experience are required.

• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based nursing care across the patient lifespan.
• Support families and patients through perioperative processes and care planning.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Surgery Center provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in the ASC. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Training in equipment used within the specialty department.
• Coursework/Training: Training in equipment and instrument Sterilization.
• Upon hire: Certification in specialty (CCRN Certification, CNOR Certification, or CGRN Certification)
