Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering compassionate care and coordinating care for diverse populations.

You will collaborate on screenings, conduct risk assessments, provide preventive education, and work with technology to streamline processes while guiding patients through instructions and addressing concerns.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license for WA.
• CPR/BLS certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional nursing care to clinic patients and performs diagnostic testing per scope and protocols.
• Conducts patient assessments and screenings (EKG,Spirometry, vision/hearing, peak flow, etc.).
• Performs wound assessments and complex wound care including dressings and wound vac changes.
• Inserts/removes tubes, drains, urinary catheters, and handles PICC-related care.
• Instructs patients on sample collection and post-visit instructions; ensures understanding of follow-up information.
• Communicates lab results and prescribes refills or messages to providers as needed.
