• We are hiring immediately for a part-time Ambulatory Services Housekeeper position.
• Location: The Guthrie Clinics - 3344 Chambers Road, Horseheads, NY 14845 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time, Thursdays and Fridays, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Experience preferred.

Job Summary

Performs specialized cleaning duties to disinfect ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture, fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
• Move chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment, scales, and other items for cleaning; realign items as per layout.
• Clean floors through sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collect and dispose of trash and biohazardous waste; clean containers regularly.
• Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
