Job summary

A healthcare service provider is looking for an Ambulatory Services Housekeeper to perform specialized cleaning duties in healthcare facilities, including disinfecting patient areas and managing cleaning supplies. The role is part-time with hours Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 1 AM. Ideal candidates will have some housekeeping experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Move chairs and waste bins for cleaning.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste.
• Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and other items.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas.
• Works with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Lehigh Valley Health Network - 500 Plaza Court, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part‑time, Monday‑Friday, 5:00 pm–1:00 am. More details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour.

Requirement: Housekeeping experience preferred.

Job Summary

Performs specialized cleaning duties with the intent of disinfecting ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disinfects surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings, vents, window sill, and ledges.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Moves chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning. Realigns items according to recommended layout.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Performs carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste. Performs routine cleaning on general trash and biohazardous waste containers.
• Replenishes soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
• Works with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
