Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a RN Clinical Nurse (Ambulatory) to provide patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education, and advocacy. Schedule: Variable Days and Hours Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Weekend Rotation 4 Saturdays per year 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM No Holidays.

BSN preferred; ADN required with Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN clinical nursing experience and strong patient-care focus.
• Ability to work in an interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient needs and develops a care plan with the care team.
• Plans and delivers patient care to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in assigned nursing specialty and scope of practice.
• Identifies opportunities to improve patient experience and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Mentors and engages colleagues to support professional growth and development.
• Collaborates with physicians and other providers to optimize patient care.
• Manages risk and responds effectively in emergencies.
