Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is hiring an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for the Cutaneous Oncology Program. The RN will deliver individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with hospital guidelines, the nursing practice model, and ANA ethics standards, in a high-volume outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has oncology experience, solid assessment skills, and a commitment to patient- and family-centered care within a cutting-edge clinical team.

Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience delivering nurse-led cancer care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess and plan care for cancer patients and families.
• Educate patients and families based on learning needs.
• Participate in evidence-based improvement activities in the area of practice.
