Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to provide Family-Centered Care in the North Campus Ambulatory units. The role emphasizes partnership with patients and families, inter-professional teamwork, and use of evidence-based practice to improve outcomes.

The CN II will participate in education, documentation in the EMR, and quality and safety initiatives, working four 10-hour shifts with two Saturday mornings per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• BLS/CPR with at least six months left before expiration; RN license in multi-state compact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Utilize informatics and EMR for documentation and decision-making.
• Support professional development and education of patients, families, and staff.
