Job summary

AOA Orthopedic Specialists in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our physician-owned, in-house outpatient clinic. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with referring providers to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Physical Therapist license (or eligibility)
• New grads and experienced PTs encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Performs PT evaluation and creates treatment plans in accordance with physician instructions
• Performs written re-evaluations as needed and documents progress
• Provides services to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent disability
• Supervises PTAs to ensure compliance with the treatment plan
• Supervises technicians/ aides to ensure appropriate patient involvement
• Communicates with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers to ensure outcomes
• Documents evaluative findings, treatments, patient responses, and plans
• Educates patients on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation
• Other duties as assigned
