Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking an Associate Chief of Behavioral Health Ambulatory Services – Psychiatry to lead adult outpatient psychiatry operations, including the Adult Mental Health Clinic and ACT programs. This role also supports collaborations with Primary Care and new initiatives like Bridge to Home and Women’s Mental Health with OB/GYN services.

The position may include responsibilities as Associate Program Director for the newly approved Psychiatry Residency Program, with involvement

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and Board Certified with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
• Strong leadership experience in ambulatory care settings and in academic medical centers or public health systems.
• Experience with psychiatry residency training and medical school teaching.
• Direct clinical work with patients is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, planning, organization and general management of adult outpatient services (Adult Mental Health Clinic, 2 ACT programs).
• Oversee collaborative care programs with Primary Care and initiatives such as Bridge to Home and Women’s Mental Health with OB/GYN services.
• Potentially serve as Associate Program Director for the Psychiatry Residency Program, supporting rotation and resident education.
