Job summary

University Hospitals seeks an LPN for ambulatory Jefferson Primary Care in Ohio. Provides safe, efficient age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to support patients and families toward optimal health.

The role requires completion of an accredited practical nurse program (or active enrollment), Ohio or multi-state compact LPN license, BLS, and 2+ years nursing experience. Travel up to 10% may be required. Primary location is Jefferson, OH with at Dorset Road offices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to regulatory board.
• Ability to use clinical equipment such as stethoscope, thermometers, sphygmomanometer and electronic monitors.
• 18 CNEs per year with leadership and specialty requirements.
• 3 Peer Reviews and committee involvement for Level II.
