Job summary

UCLA Health in West Hills, CA, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist in all technical aspects of prescription filling and dispensing. Responsibilities include processing, filling, dispensing, inventory management, bedside delivery, prior authorizations, mailout, and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision.
• Customer service, and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical abbreviations.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk, with stamina for a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Process, fill and dispense prescriptions under supervision.
• Manage inventory and perform medication delivery at bedside.
• Assist with prior authorization and mailout processes.
• Perform medication reconciliation and other duties as assigned.
