UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine seeks a Pharmacy Technician I/II in Santa Monica, CA to support prescription filling, dispensing, and inventory management under staff pharmacist supervision.

The role requires a California Pharmacy Technician License, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians. Schedule varies, including weekends/holidays, with union affiliation EX - AFSCME.

Competenze

We’re seeking a dedicated professional with a California Pharmacy Technician License.
The ability to work independently and follow-through with minimal supervision.
Customer service and problem solving skills are essential.
Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical abbreviations and drug names, and dosage forms.
Concentration, speed and accuracy are required; strong verbal communication with pharmacists, nurses and physicians.

Mansioni

Assist in all technical aspects of prescription filling and dispensing within license scope.
Handle inventory management and medication delivery at bedside.
Perform prior authorizations, mailout processes and medication reconciliation.
