Job summary

The Ambulatory Pharmacist works within the Clinic Pharmacy (also known as Specialty Pharmacy) to provides safe, evidence-based, cost effective, and patient centered medication management as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for providing clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other staff when caring for patients in the ambulatory clinics. In addition to providing safe and effective drug therapy management to improve patient outcomes, this position would be responsible for performing all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including accurate dispensing, clinical interaction with the healthcare team, patient care monitoring and supervision of the pharmacy. Additionally, this position will assist in supporting the teams that are charged with obtaining insurance prior authorizations and lowering financial barriers to medications for ambulatory patients.Minimum Required Credentials:Bachelor's degree in pharmacyFL RPh LicenseThe ideal candidate will have: Pharm.D.Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)Training Required:Proficient in the drug distribution process of chemotherapy agents and non-chemotherapy agents.Clinical practice skills in patient assessment and education, pharmacology, genomics, supportive care, and personalized medicine.Excellent skills with communications, writing, computer applications, group dynamics and supervision.Professional interpersonal skills are essential.Salary Range$131,892.80 - $201,052.80Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
