The University of Rochester is hiring a full-time perioperative nurse to support the operating room and perioperative screening across sites in Rochester, NY. You will provide direct patient care to diverse age groups and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.

Two years of perioperative nursing experience is required, with flexibility to travel between sites and work daytime hours.

Formación

• Two years of perioperative nursing experience in the operating room and/or moderate sedation required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support the care delivery system at the unit level.
• Support peers in delivering patient care and may serve as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member.
• Care for patients across the lifespan, from infants to older adults, in OR and perioperative settings.
• Assignment may change based on site needs and travel between locations is required.
