Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital Developmental Pediatrics Clinic is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse to support pediatric patient care in a busy clinic. The role involves performing treatments, administering medications, and assisting non‑anesthesia procedures using aseptic technique.

You will provide patient and family education, collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners and staff, delegate tasks to assistive personnel, and help develop an individualized care plan using the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nursing license in Ohio.
• Commitment to obtain Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments and administers medications as prescribed.
• Assists procedures performed without anesthesia using aseptic technique.
• Assists with employee education and orientation; provides patient/family education.
