Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Main Street is seeking an Operating Room Manager to oversee 5 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms. The role focuses on efficient surgical scheduling, staffing, and maintaining high-quality patient care in Bariatrics, Colonoscopy, General, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Urology, and more.

The manager will supervise surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing, collaborate with senior leaders, and may assist as an RN Circulator or Scrub Tech.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• Five (5) years’ experience in surgery as circulator.
• Two (2) years’ experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
• Current Texas RN License- BLS
• CNOR preferred
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all departmental functions to align with hospital mission and goals.
• Manages surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services; uses feedback to drive improvements.
• Collaborates with Senior Management to meet facility goals and may assist as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech when needed.
