Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Triage all incoming calls by evaluating patient health status.
• Follow nursing protocols and guidelines for answering and directing calls.
• Record and report patient condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients and family regarding treatments and medications.
• Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
• Oversee appointment bookings and prioritize emergency patient needs.
• Coordinate patient testing and admissions; arrange referrals as needed.
• Perform medication prior authorizations with needed clinical information.
