Job summary

Central Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse to advance specialty nursing care in a patient-centered, team-based environment. The RN will provide care to restore health, prevent illness, and support patients and families through education and coordination with care teams.

The position emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adherence to regulatory standards, and opportunities to lead quality improvement initiatives while supporting a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years nursing experience in an ambulatory clinic and/or hospital setting.
• Unrestricted Registered Nurse license (Texas) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with care team to optimize clinical outcomes.
• Oversees assigned team and staffing flow within the unit.
• Assesss physical, social, and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Educates patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
• Triages patients and ensures timely care following protocols.
• SupportProvider teams with in-basket management and medication refills.
• Assist with procedures, rooming, and patient dismissal per workflows.
• Perform duties per Standing Delegation Orders including injections and specimen collection.
• Participate in daily unit huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
