Ability to float to other sites and support team as needed. The ideal candidate has an active Medical Assistant background with strong customer service and patient interaction skills, and CPR certification within 90 days.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Less than 1 year 6 months experience in ambulatory care required.
• For Cardiology offices only: 6 months experience or related degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a medical assistant preferred.
• Certification CMA-AAMA within 1 year required or RMA within 1 year required.
• CPR certification required within 90 days.
• Additional certifications may vary by department.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers with patient preparation for examination and with procedures.
• Provide clerical support and back-up for Patient Services Coordinator or team members.
• Participate in daily team huddles and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in the EMR.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection as directed.
• Support infection prevention and maintain equipment and inventory.
• Float to other sites as needed and attend required meetings.
