Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Park Ridge/Illinois Masonic team. You will support providers, engage with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience in ambulatory care.

The role features Monday–Friday schedules with 8.5‑hour shifts, Park Ridge and Chicago assignments, and a pay range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour. Eligible to benefits and a comprehensive Total Rewards program are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
